He Loves Us

Constantly I praise the Lord for He is good. I can truly say His plans for us are good, they are to "prosper us and not to harm us."(Jeremiah 29:11) Though we go through many trials, which are real, the fact is we come out on the other side more beautiful and full of luster than when we began.

I have learned, that God sees things far different, more fully and with a beauty we can not. It amazes me that He sees us as the finished product of His perfect handy work even now. He holds us in highest esteem, seeing us without blemish or disappointment, but as usable and moldable.

Over the years, as I have sought after Him, I have found His hands to be perfect, in size, composition, strength and gentleness. His tender mercies see me through each and every situation. And just when I think I have messed up terribly, he reminds me He does not see a mistake but and opportunity for teaching and advancement.

Time and time again He has been there reminding me of the truth, the truth of His word, that says I am not and will not ever be alone, that when I seek His will over my own, His perfect will is revealed and the path He has laid out for me will be successful.

You see each of us are His precious, choice possession and He sings over us. He enjoys and looks forward to spending time with us each and every day, just as a young child waits with anticipation to spend their day with there Mom and Dad, or as a parent yearns to see and hear from their children who have grown up and no longer live at home.

He loves to love us! He loves to talk with us! He loves to spend time with us! He loves to carry us on His shoulders! He loves to hold us... He loves us!

I can't express with the proper words all He is or all He means to each of us. I would venture to say, each of us would have our own limitless, not fully expressible, words to describe who He is to us. For as we walk our journey, we come to know and experience Him through different means. Yet the beauty of it is, all who seek Him, find Him, and the more we seek, the more we find. For that very reason I so often find myself saying the more I know Him, the more unfathomable He is to me.

I encourage each one of us to diligently seek Him. For those who do will forever be blessed and astounded by His great and unending love!

Can You Hear Him Calling

When I found this video, and heard the heart and story of Aviad Cohen it touched my heart. I am so thankful God is moving all over this world to bring people to Christ by sharing His love through those who are willing to be used. I pray God blesses the efforts of all His harvesters, soul winners and "fishers of men".

Many seeds of Truth were planted during this 9 month mission trip to Israel to share the Good News with the Jews, Arabs and people of many nations. Aviad would like to thank the people in Israel who took the time to hear the Good News and have respectable conversations with Aviad about God and His Word. For the first time many people got the chance to read and hear Aviad read to them from the Bible and to hear that Yeshua is their Messiah. Israel is open to hearing the Good News of salvation through Yeshua Messiah. Aviad thanks everyone who prayed for him and made this opportunity possible.

An interesting note, during the main alleyway scene in the Arab quarter, a number of young Arab children were standing around listening to Aviad sing the "Israel" song as it was videotaped for the music video. At the Wailing Wall, Ultra Orthodox and other Jewish onlookers were also present during the time the music video was recorded. It was an intense spiritual moment in both locations but perhaps God uses those moments to plant seeds of Truth amongst the people. He does not want any of them to perish but to come to know their Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), repent of their sins, to follow Him and to have everlasting life.

See His Love

May this video find its way into our hearts and may the unending and compassionate love of Christ touch us deeply as we reflect upon His precious gift. For our Heavenly Father, The Rose Of Sharon, bore our sin and death in exchange for our eternal life. It is God's will that "all" know Him. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "He (Jesus Christ) was handed over to die because of our sins, and He was raised from the dead to make us right with God." (Romans 4:25) May each of us know the freedom from guilt and shame that God gives through His grace and everlasting love. For without Him no one is free from death and condemnation. "For we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) But those who come to know Him through a repentant heart are found "holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault (spot or wrinkle)." (Colossians 1:22) Praise God for His loving heart and eternal gift of grace. May we never take it for granted!

This music video has touched many people and they have been inspired by Tom Lockley's song coupled with Mel Gibsons film and the voice of Kim Walker. May you also find yourself touched as you watch.

Perfect In His Sight

If we have chosen to receive God's grace, through salvation in Jesus Christ, then we are perfect in His sight. "You are holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault (spot or wrinkle)1." For by the cross of Christ, through the blood of the Lamb, we have been made perfect. We are no longer subject to sin, we are "set free2" from the condemnation, gilt, shame, strife and stress of sin. Though we may make mistakes, God has already made provision for us through His gift of grace, Jesus Christ, and "God's grace is sufficient3!"

As a child of God we need to strive to do our best each day, and when we have moments where we feel as though we have fallen short or made a mistake; we must remember God's grace for us and use it on ourselves.

Through God, because of His Son,we need not dwell on our current mistakes or past failures. We have been given "rest4" in Christ Jesus from all these things. In God's grace we can embrace what is ours; “freedom from sin5!”

Remember, God did not place those thoughts of condemnation in your mind telling you, "you aren't good enough; all you do is make mistakes." No, those evil things, those thoughts are from the devil himself, "the father of all lies6," the one who seeks to steal from you, kill and destroy you7. He will do anything he can to keep you from the grace, provision and love of the Lord. For he knows God's plan is to prosper you and keep you safe from harm; to give you life and life more abundantly7

"God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty8," and we must not forget that truth. Hold tightly to it, and do not let go. For God can not lie and what God has spoken is final9!

Our shortcomings, those so called mistakes, are not even in the view of the Lord. They have already been put to death (abolished), never to be seen or thought of again!

The blood of God's Son Jesus has made it forever impossible for God to see those impurities ever again! "He has removed our transgressions (sins and faults) as far as the east is from the west10." His blood is not faulty or translucent. It completely covers all!

You see, God's grace is intended and designed to give us freedom, joy, peace and rest “once and for all11!” God has made it simple for His children. Simply receive His gift of grace, and freedom is yours.

So, in all we do through thought and action alike, we must deal with our mistakes and shortcomings just as God has. Let them go through divine forgetfulness and forgiveness through repentance (the act of humbly laying those things at God's feet). The very moment you lay those things down at His feet, walk away with your head held high and do not think on them again. For if you do, it is as if you are saying to God, “The blood of Your Son Jesus can't do what You said it has done.”

But now, as we go, not looking back on those things, healing takes place and we are able to move forward.

It is amazing to know, that when we choose to receive what God has given us, we will strive not to make the same mistakes twice because we begin to understand the greatness and fullness of God's grace, love and mercy. Then we begin to truly live in God's joy, and begin walking the highly favored, triumphant life God has designed and intended for us!  When we learn to walk in this simple truth, we will walk in God's abundance, blessings and victory! We will shine with the joy, peace, rest and forgiveness of God for the whole world to see. Because we have chosen to forgive ourselves by receiving the forgiveness God has set aside for us through grace, we now have the ability to forgive others as God has forgiven us and to laugh and enjoy each day to its fullest.

It is this one simple thing, this one simple truth, that unlocks the door to all God has said is ours (freedom from sin and death, joy, peace, rest and so much more). With God we "will never lack any good thing12." Therefore, listen and understand what God is saying, and choose to receive this gift of grace which God has made free, to each one of us, through His precious and beloved Son Jesus Christ!

My prayer is that each of us will choose to honor God by accepting His free gift of grace. May the blood of God’s Son Jesus be given the opportunity, in each of our lives, to wipe us clean and cover our sins completely once and for all! And upon receiving, God’s grace and salvation, may we walk a life that is pleasing to Him; never taking His gift of grace for granted. But treasuring it dearly, may we always walk the sinless, blameless life He has made available to us, never seeing ourselves in condemnation again! For we, as God's children, are now and will forever be; chosen, accepted, highly favored, deeply loved and forgiven.

Remember, "instead of shame and dishonor, you have inherited a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy13." So let us forever find ourselves Praising His Mighty Name!
