He Loves Us

Constantly I praise the Lord for He is good. I can truly say His plans for us are good, they are to "prosper us and not to harm us."(Jeremiah 29:11) Though we go through many trials, which are real, the fact is we come out on the other side more beautiful and full of luster than when we began.

I have learned, that God sees things far different, more fully and with a beauty we can not. It amazes me that He sees us as the finished product of His perfect handy work even now. He holds us in highest esteem, seeing us without blemish or disappointment, but as usable and moldable.

Over the years, as I have sought after Him, I have found His hands to be perfect, in size, composition, strength and gentleness. His tender mercies see me through each and every situation. And just when I think I have messed up terribly, he reminds me He does not see a mistake but and opportunity for teaching and advancement.

Time and time again He has been there reminding me of the truth, the truth of His word, that says I am not and will not ever be alone, that when I seek His will over my own, His perfect will is revealed and the path He has laid out for me will be successful.

You see each of us are His precious, choice possession and He sings over us. He enjoys and looks forward to spending time with us each and every day, just as a young child waits with anticipation to spend their day with there Mom and Dad, or as a parent yearns to see and hear from their children who have grown up and no longer live at home.

He loves to love us! He loves to talk with us! He loves to spend time with us! He loves to carry us on His shoulders! He loves to hold us... He loves us!

I can't express with the proper words all He is or all He means to each of us. I would venture to say, each of us would have our own limitless, not fully expressible, words to describe who He is to us. For as we walk our journey, we come to know and experience Him through different means. Yet the beauty of it is, all who seek Him, find Him, and the more we seek, the more we find. For that very reason I so often find myself saying the more I know Him, the more unfathomable He is to me.

I encourage each one of us to diligently seek Him. For those who do will forever be blessed and astounded by His great and unending love!

Can You Hear Him Calling

When I found this video, and heard the heart and story of Aviad Cohen it touched my heart. I am so thankful God is moving all over this world to bring people to Christ by sharing His love through those who are willing to be used. I pray God blesses the efforts of all His harvesters, soul winners and "fishers of men".

Many seeds of Truth were planted during this 9 month mission trip to Israel to share the Good News with the Jews, Arabs and people of many nations. Aviad would like to thank the people in Israel who took the time to hear the Good News and have respectable conversations with Aviad about God and His Word. For the first time many people got the chance to read and hear Aviad read to them from the Bible and to hear that Yeshua is their Messiah. Israel is open to hearing the Good News of salvation through Yeshua Messiah. Aviad thanks everyone who prayed for him and made this opportunity possible.

An interesting note, during the main alleyway scene in the Arab quarter, a number of young Arab children were standing around listening to Aviad sing the "Israel" song as it was videotaped for the music video. At the Wailing Wall, Ultra Orthodox and other Jewish onlookers were also present during the time the music video was recorded. It was an intense spiritual moment in both locations but perhaps God uses those moments to plant seeds of Truth amongst the people. He does not want any of them to perish but to come to know their Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), repent of their sins, to follow Him and to have everlasting life.

See His Love

May this video find its way into our hearts and may the unending and compassionate love of Christ touch us deeply as we reflect upon His precious gift. For our Heavenly Father, The Rose Of Sharon, bore our sin and death in exchange for our eternal life. It is God's will that "all" know Him. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "He (Jesus Christ) was handed over to die because of our sins, and He was raised from the dead to make us right with God." (Romans 4:25) May each of us know the freedom from guilt and shame that God gives through His grace and everlasting love. For without Him no one is free from death and condemnation. "For we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) But those who come to know Him through a repentant heart are found "holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault (spot or wrinkle)." (Colossians 1:22) Praise God for His loving heart and eternal gift of grace. May we never take it for granted!

This music video has touched many people and they have been inspired by Tom Lockley's song coupled with Mel Gibsons film and the voice of Kim Walker. May you also find yourself touched as you watch.

Perfect In His Sight

If we have chosen to receive God's grace, through salvation in Jesus Christ, then we are perfect in His sight. "You are holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault (spot or wrinkle)1." For by the cross of Christ, through the blood of the Lamb, we have been made perfect. We are no longer subject to sin, we are "set free2" from the condemnation, gilt, shame, strife and stress of sin. Though we may make mistakes, God has already made provision for us through His gift of grace, Jesus Christ, and "God's grace is sufficient3!"

As a child of God we need to strive to do our best each day, and when we have moments where we feel as though we have fallen short or made a mistake; we must remember God's grace for us and use it on ourselves.

Through God, because of His Son,we need not dwell on our current mistakes or past failures. We have been given "rest4" in Christ Jesus from all these things. In God's grace we can embrace what is ours; “freedom from sin5!”

Remember, God did not place those thoughts of condemnation in your mind telling you, "you aren't good enough; all you do is make mistakes." No, those evil things, those thoughts are from the devil himself, "the father of all lies6," the one who seeks to steal from you, kill and destroy you7. He will do anything he can to keep you from the grace, provision and love of the Lord. For he knows God's plan is to prosper you and keep you safe from harm; to give you life and life more abundantly7

"God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty8," and we must not forget that truth. Hold tightly to it, and do not let go. For God can not lie and what God has spoken is final9!

Our shortcomings, those so called mistakes, are not even in the view of the Lord. They have already been put to death (abolished), never to be seen or thought of again!

The blood of God's Son Jesus has made it forever impossible for God to see those impurities ever again! "He has removed our transgressions (sins and faults) as far as the east is from the west10." His blood is not faulty or translucent. It completely covers all!

You see, God's grace is intended and designed to give us freedom, joy, peace and rest “once and for all11!” God has made it simple for His children. Simply receive His gift of grace, and freedom is yours.

So, in all we do through thought and action alike, we must deal with our mistakes and shortcomings just as God has. Let them go through divine forgetfulness and forgiveness through repentance (the act of humbly laying those things at God's feet). The very moment you lay those things down at His feet, walk away with your head held high and do not think on them again. For if you do, it is as if you are saying to God, “The blood of Your Son Jesus can't do what You said it has done.”

But now, as we go, not looking back on those things, healing takes place and we are able to move forward.

It is amazing to know, that when we choose to receive what God has given us, we will strive not to make the same mistakes twice because we begin to understand the greatness and fullness of God's grace, love and mercy. Then we begin to truly live in God's joy, and begin walking the highly favored, triumphant life God has designed and intended for us!  When we learn to walk in this simple truth, we will walk in God's abundance, blessings and victory! We will shine with the joy, peace, rest and forgiveness of God for the whole world to see. Because we have chosen to forgive ourselves by receiving the forgiveness God has set aside for us through grace, we now have the ability to forgive others as God has forgiven us and to laugh and enjoy each day to its fullest.

It is this one simple thing, this one simple truth, that unlocks the door to all God has said is ours (freedom from sin and death, joy, peace, rest and so much more). With God we "will never lack any good thing12." Therefore, listen and understand what God is saying, and choose to receive this gift of grace which God has made free, to each one of us, through His precious and beloved Son Jesus Christ!

My prayer is that each of us will choose to honor God by accepting His free gift of grace. May the blood of God’s Son Jesus be given the opportunity, in each of our lives, to wipe us clean and cover our sins completely once and for all! And upon receiving, God’s grace and salvation, may we walk a life that is pleasing to Him; never taking His gift of grace for granted. But treasuring it dearly, may we always walk the sinless, blameless life He has made available to us, never seeing ourselves in condemnation again! For we, as God's children, are now and will forever be; chosen, accepted, highly favored, deeply loved and forgiven.

Remember, "instead of shame and dishonor, you have inherited a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy13." So let us forever find ourselves Praising His Mighty Name!

The Precious Love Of God

Oh how beautiful the Love of God!!! This video is so very touching, I just had to share it! Please enjoy, I pray it will touch your heart! It depicts the very love of our Heavenly Father, an endless love that carries us through lives journeys!

After their first 5mile competition, "Rick sent a powerful message to his father" when he said: "Dad, when I'm running it feels like my disability disappears." It was through those precious words, Dick, Rick's father realized, "we finally found a sport that Rick could get involved in just like everybody else." So Dick began a journey with his son, and says with a humble heart: "Rick is my motivation, he inspires me. To me, he's the one out there competing and I'm just loaning him my arms and legs so that he can compete." How powerful their message of love, hope and triumph!

Intelligent Design

Science is now recognizing humans, and all living things, were created through intelligent design... a creator. Praise God His word does not return void. He has left His fingerprint, and the knowledge of who He is, will reach every person across the earth!

"This is for people who rate Scientific knowledge above God, the creator. Through this video, Science itself confirms the existence of God."  by: Imanuels

Giving God Your Undivided Attention

We must give to God, our full, undivided attention, if we are to ever know and understand His divine will for our lives!

We must be willing and determined to get rid of the clutter in our minds, hearts and lives; surrendering our thoughts and desires (those things we think we need, want or must have) to Him, in exchange for His perfect will and desire (everything that is good, right and best) for our lives.

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of the world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is."(Romans 12:2)  For He knows us better than we know ourselves, and is far greater, and more capable of supplying our needs and fulfilling the "true", deep down desires of our hearts than we are.

"This "foolish" plan of God is far wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God's weakness is far stronger than the greatest of human strength."(1Corinthians 1:25)

So often, we come to God with a preconceived notion of what we want, and how things should be done in order to get us what we want; forgetting, that God is "The One" who knows and sees all things. "For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things."(1John 3:20)

Then there are those times when we don't stop long enough to give God our "complete" attention and thus we go and try to meet with Him with "divided attention".

We allow our thoughts to drift and wonder around to the things going on in our lives instead of being solely and completely focused on God. It is as if, we are standing there, looking at God face to face, and as we try to focus we inevitably begin feeling the enemy (those distractions of life) tapping us on the shoulder. Instead of continuing to look forward and focusing our attention on Christ, we choose turn around to address the "problems or distractions of life", Satan, on our own. When all we actually need to do is say to the enemy, "Get thee behind me Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of man (a worldly point of view)."(Matthew 16:23)

Unfortunately at that point we are forgetting... God, who is now standing behind us, because we chose to turn around and in doing so diverted our focus.  Waving His hand, He stands there patiently, trying to get our attention, asking us to place our "problems" and "troubles" back down at His feet where they belong. And allow Him to once again take His rightful place in our lives, as our Shield, Defender and Protector.

For "He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety (protector), my deliverer, He stands before me as a shield, and I take refuge in Him. He subdues the nations (my enemies) under me." (Psalm 144:2)

He is our defender, "He has our back" if we will just keep our eyes directed forward, focusing only upon Him. He will do what He said He would do, and through Him, our enemies will be defeated!

"Blessed be God Most High, who gave you victory over your enemies."(Genesis 14:20)  When we give God our "undivided attention", we walk in victory, without strife, troubles, and distraction. For God "did not" design our bodies to take on "heavy loads", making us stressed and weary, with headaches, body aches and illness. No, God created and designed our bodies to be stress and worry free; free from heavy burdens and sicknesses! "For Jesus said, come to me, all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."(Matthew 11:28)

God's intention from the very beginning, was to take all those heavy burdens in our lives upon Himself! That is why, He died for our transgressions and bore stripes for our healing! "He was wounded and crushed for our transgressions (sins). He was beaten that we might have peace. He bore stripes (was whipped) that we might be healed."(Isaiah 53:5)  He did all that, so we could walk this life in total joy and peace, in the pleasure of an everlasting covenant of love with the Father Himself!

We've been given an eternal invitation to dwell in the intimate presence of The Lord our God, our King, our Friend and The Lover of our souls that will never end!

We can not forget that God has our best at heart. "He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will the Lord withhold from those who do what is right."(Psalm 84:11)

God loves us with a love far deeper than we can understand. Derek Prince, one of the world's leading Bible teachers put it this way:"When you come to God through Jesus, you are as accepted and as highly favored as Jesus Himself is!" Being loved with this, the only such, full and all encompassing love by "The Creator Himself" comes with it, all the blessings, power and fulfillment we will ever need in our lives! So, let us strive to never take our eyes, our attention, off Christ! May we live a life of "undivided attention" on Christ alone!

My prayer is, that each of us, through the quickening of the Holy Spirit will come to recognize immediately, the distractions of the enemy, and choose in the midst of life's troubles, "not turn around" and address them ourselves; but make the conscious decision and effort to continue, to "look forward" and allow God to defend us, as our Shield and Protector! "For if God is with us (on our side), who can be against us."(Romans 8:31)  We could not be... in more capable hands, than those of The Lord our God, Creator of Heaven and Earth!

Heart, Mind & Soul...

God desires each one of us...His children, to "know" Him closely and intimately in the fullness of His love. He desires us to move with Him, not against Him, and to entrust our hearts, minds and souls into His care completely.

It is when we choose to surrender completely to Him, that we find life in the intimacy of His love. When we allow Him to... He will pour out His unending, all consuming love on each one of us. In doing so, our hearts, our minds and our souls will truly be free to experience the intimacies of His love.

You see, His “Love always protects, never gives up, always trusts, never loses faith, always hopes, never doubts, and always endures with perseverance through every circumstance.”(1 Corinthians 13:7)  It is this very same love that He desires so deeply to share with us, that we might "know" Him, and in turn share Him and His love with others.

When we truly "know" His love,  and experience it for ourselves, we simply can't get enough, and we begin to desire more and more of Him daily. This is why over and over again throughout the scriptures, God reminds us, "you must love the Lord your God, with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” (Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30 and Luke 10:27) For the Lord said “Do this and you will live”!(Luke 10:28)

It is when we seek after His love with "all" we have, that we draw close to Him and in His grace and mercy, have the privilege of "knowing" an intimate relationship with Him. It is though this relationship of pure, passionate and  intimate love with Him; our hearts, our minds, and our souls become so consumed with Him, it is no longer possible to keep His love to ourselves. It is in that moment, we come to a place, were we are ready, willing and able to become His hands and feet; and walk a victorious, love driven life that pleases Him.

When we are touched by Christ Jesus’ passionate, unending, all consuming, intimate love; we not only find hope, acceptance, faith, rest, joy and peace, but also, an optimism, that paves the way to a greater and deeper level of blessing for us in Christ.

May each of us come to "know" that precious and intimate heart of Christ, and choose to give Him our hearts, minds and souls completely!

In Times Of Trials & Suffering

"Don't ever forget those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes, you helped others who were suffering the same things. You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail. When all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew you had better things waiting for you in eternity. Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God's will Then you will receive all that He has promised." (Hebrews 10:32-36)

"For I live in eager expectation and hope that I will never do anything that causes me shame, but that I will always be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past, and that my life will always honor Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, to live (living) is for Christ, and to die (dying) is my gain (even better). Yet if I live, that means fruitful service for Christ. Sometimes I long to go and be with the Lord. That would be far better for me. But it is better for the lost that I live." (Philippians 1:20-24)

While we are here walking this earth, seeking to see lost lives changed, and their hearts given to the Lord Jesus Christ; we must always remember, and be continually encouraged, that His eternal promise for our lives has not and will not ever change!

No matter what we go through here on this earth as we are carrying out Christ's call on our lives, we "will" receive the greatest promise of eternal life with Jesus Christ when all is said and done. To that knowledge, there is nothing better! We are, and will always be blessed and privileged to have such an extraordinary promise for our lives at the end of our journey to this natural life.

We must do all we can to honor God through our days of service and surrender completely to Him. Praying regularly for His strength to empower us, that our faith will not fail, and that His will, will be done in our lives.

Through prayer and seeking we will stay fruitful in all we do for the kingdom of God with the time we have left. We will take the trials and suffering with pride and joy, knowing God is and will always be right by our side each step of the way, ready and waiting to fulfill His eternal promise for our lives.
